ABS Cuts in, stiff brake pedal, very little actual braking

Driving in the rain tonight, doing about 20mph, went to use the brakes but the ABS cut it, the pedal went very stiff and there wasn't alot of actual stopping going on :S

Crack ABS Ring or could it be something else?

If it is the ABS ring, does this only happen at low speeds?

Probably the ring, in my experience it only happened at low speeds yes.

either that or outer driveshaft boot clips come off and trap themselves between target ring and sensor.

ABS rings are an easy change (if you have tools) - don't buy a new shaft from renault, there's no need.

this actualy happened to mine today such a pain it only happend at slow speed,

turns out it was ABS ring realy dont change the whole driveshaft theres no need its so easy to change the ring
