abs light

looking for help on this, neighbour got a daewoo tacuma(yeah i know)but any way he tells me abs light on and wont go out,got it checked by a dealer and they tell him sensor goosed ,so i replaced that for him(save him a bit of dosh)but feckin light still on.tried disconnecting bat over night and reconnecting ,still abs light on,thought sensor would be faulty so ran a meter accross it but alls well,if anybody got any ideas how to sort i would be very gratefull and so would be my new best mate, cheers in advance guys.

Check the sensor wire all the way back and the rest of the sensor.

Check the abs rings are ok and arn't free to move

Check the gapping on the sensors

Check the rest of the sensors though.

edde ,ive checked the rings and the rest of the sensors, all ok ,somebody mentioned checking the plugs on the abs pump and then the wiring ,but of memory serves me right i think all these wires go into different looms working their way back to pump,so iam starting to stress about it and it isnt even my car, just trying to save the old boy a few quid without having to go to a dealer, will try and locate the pump and check connections?plugs etc, cheers anyway edde
