ABS removal on Ph1

I've got all the bits to remove the ABS on my Ph1 but my friendly MOT man said he won't be able to pass it without the ABS light coming on for a few seconds then turning off because the car came with ABS as standard.

Will I have to make something up to turn the light on with the ignition and then turn off?

The alternative is I get two new front ABS sensors and leave the ABS in place.

If it's classed as a trackday car and has had modifications to enhance its track performance, your home and dry anyway Tom. That's how you get around the airbag issue.

Get a new MOT man, yours sounds like a bit of a helmet tbh.

If it's not got ABS fitted and it passes the brake test, what's he worrying about??

As above, oil pressure, do nothing and find a new mot tester. As all are correct.
