ABS + SERV (Steering Angle Sensor)

How sensitive is the steering angle sensor?
I've just taken my steering wheel off to fix the airbag cable and the ABS + SERV lights are on.

I took a picture of the exact position of the steering wheel and the sensor when removing the wheel. When putting the wheel back on the sensor must have been no more than 1 or 2 degree out. However, I am now getting the ABS and SERV lights appear after driving 100 yards.

I've had this issue last year when the tracking was out and that was sorted by ETS. AM I going to need them to calibrate it again?

I had another go at this tonight and sorted it. I took the steering wheel off again and aligned the sensor slightly more clockwise to fit in the gap better.
Saves a trip to get the sensor reset.
