accelator pedal

behind there is an electrical clip??

took to a renualt dealer last week as it was cutting out at a certain amount of revs and did it again today! need to know were this clip is and is it ok to disconnect it and clean it? as too see if the problem is any better!
im sure this is all the guy at the dealership did and it ran fine for a week or so! faulty connection i think!
