Accident Management Kit

  Arctic Blue 182

Hi all,

Theres been a thread on here about this before, and Ive done a search but found nothing.

Got an edition of the Renault Magazine through the post this week, and inside was a separate leaflet about Renault services, and in particular the "Accident Management Pack", with the camera, torch etc.

Ive heard people on here whove received theirs, so I went ot the dealer where i bought my 182 from - Gordon Lambs in Chesterield, and they know nothing about it, and to contact Renault UK. Tried contacting them on the net but I have more chance of nailing diarrhoea to the wall, than getting through to anyone. I cant find a number to call. The one on the leaflet said RenaultUK but when I called it I got through to the AA!

Ive yet to receive my pack. Anyone got any suggestions?

Regards.

Mine came through the post about two months after I bought the car. Before that I had a nice plastic-bound but totally useless pack telling me about Renault Services - a glorified version of the leaflet that dropped out of the Reno magazine.

yeah you get the welcome to renault folder about 6 weeks after the car, and I got my accident pack about another 2 weeks after this.

Not long ago I got a replacement camera for the accident pack as renault had been informed the cameras they had been issueing had problems rewinding.

worth having, there is a number for renault customer services, cos I phone them, Ill try and dig it out later. Sure its on here somewhere too, ive posted it before?

Well its been over 2 months now since Ive had the car, so dont know whether to wait a bit longer or phone RenUK. Cant find a customer services number though. Ill have a look through my welcome pack when I get home.

In the small print on the leaflet that came through the door, it says at participating dealers only..... Gordon Lambs better be participating!

Perhaps if someone could post a pic up you could just e-mail that to RenUK ?

Your getting through to the AA because you are using the Renault Assistance phone number who are the AA. The camera is a good idea and all that but who in the right mind (the third party) is gonna sign their name to that? I know I wouldnt if I was in an accident with a reno driver because you could be admitting liability and as you know, insurance companies always tell you not to accept liability and leave the decisions to them.

Does anyone know Renault UK customer services phone number then, so I can phone and ask for one? Cant find it on the website.

I have one, you really dont want it, its shocking!

The torch must have cos about 10p to manufacture, still it was a nice thought - though I dont plan on using it!
