Accident repair advice, body and structural

  04 Clio 1.6 16vDynamique+
Involved in an accident(pics below), my car has quite a bit of body damage as well as a broken driver side CV joint and wishbone. Airbags have been deployed which in turn cracked the front windscreen.

So far, from calling around, I have found an accident repairs specialist (used by many insurance companies). They said I need to transport my car to them. They will then strip down the relevant bits to ascertain what work needs to be done. They then order the parts from Renault and ask me to pay for them up front. They then keep the car and get the whole repair done without my involvement.

Does this all sound pretty standard?

I have found that I can get all the parts from salvage companies at around £800. I imagine new parts will be around twice this cost, would that be a fair assumption? Would you say labour costs would equal part costs?

Can anyone give advice on getting a car repaired please?
