Removing bits in the car and the above happened, can no longer lock the car without the alarm giving me a constant high pitch noise, tried reattaching the sensor with no luck.

I don't need them to work but wouldn't mind being able to lock the car :) what are my options? :(

Turn the ultrasonic sensors off. A quick Google will tell you how or look in the handbook

I know to temporarily turn them off but I can't do that everytime I lock it!

Soo apparently the good old ignition on off x 2 trick with all doors shut doesn't just disable the internal sensors until you relock the car, as it now locks without a high pitch siren noise constantly, can't move the car but started it, unlock and relocked it a few times normally afterwards and it appears to be working ok minus the disconnected sensors of course :) See how this goes!

Did exactly the same thing on mine. Only option with this is to replace interior sensors, just plugging them back in doesn't work unfortunately! You need this:
http://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/products/Renault-Alarm-Sensor-Kit.html

Or you can get it delivered from Renault Wolverhampton (trader on here but he rarely replies on here so better to message him on Facebook!) for £21.30. I think it's a dash off job if you want to replace them yourself but I got them replaced at a Renault specialist for £25 labour. Stopped my alarm going off thankfully!
