Well she made it, 200k on original engine and box, neither of which have been opened.

Cars been a daily runner for all three previous owners and for me since the day it was sold new in 2004.

She's no minter, but after lapping up Donington on Wednesday evening and running my commute the last 6.5 years that's to be expected.

Here's to the next 200k ;)

Cheers

Ben

That’s awesome!

Some serious fun has been had in there [emoji23]

Just goes to show that a well looked after & maintained car can do serious mileage!

So here in lies the dilemma.

RenaultSport Clio pricing is all over the place, how would you price a car like this with exceptional history and maintenance, yet high miles.
Vs some of the absolute sheds out there with low miles on, yet clearly haven’t been cared for properly.

We all know those out there who think they can spend a weekend on a lowish miles car with a DA polisher and a rattle can of VHT silver, and then think they can ask double the price for it.

Personally miles mean nothin to me providing a car has been cared for properly.

This thread reminds me of that Trophy that was high mileage on here but I can’t remember much more.

In all honesty the value of the car really doesn't matter in any way to me, I paid 2400 quid for it 7 years ago and I've just kept it maintained ever since, written value of it off years ago, but as it just keeps on going I'll just keep running it

Couldn't possibly comment.....

Beautiful looker. How do you find the PMS shifter daily?
I’m still tempted by one of these.

It's such a superb bit of kit for gear change feel etc but I've only just started using it daily this week and as mines an old version it's got the rattle bad....so jury's out on how I'll cope going forward

Awesome mate.

How many more miles you planning on doing before changing?

No plan to change at all at the mo matey, no desire for anything else and to all intents and purposes it's a free car now, lol!

@Sir_Dave owned that for while, actually asked him about it recently but seems it got lost years ago.... was on 180k ish when I bought mine though around 7 years ago.... so should be silly mileage but don't think was used again

My daily DCi is about to tick over 130,000
Highest mileage car I’ve had - it’s running like a dream and seeing this thread reassured me evermore that it’ll just keep going, with a bit of maintenance and respect.

Hopefully I’ll be posting a 200k pic of it.
