Mini.
Addz came over today for the cleaning session I'd promised him for at least 8 months. So we got stuck in on his new car. Personally I'm a massive fan, and think it was a good move to sack the vee. So much so that I'm seriously considering the finance on owning a GP
Anyway, pictures. List of products used is as long as my arm, and if we're really honest you don't really care whether or not I list them. So I won't.
Before pics:
Upon arrival:
Washed:
Car was then ready for claying:
Oh F*ck
After a brief session of claying in the rain, we continued on.
Washed again:
Car then had the paint inspected before correction:
Some nice holograms on the rear quarter:
It was then brought under shelter, where we got it up on axle stands for further cleaning.
Adam worked his magic on the wheels and arches, while I masked up for polish.
....and me looking daft.
Quite impressed, getting those scratches out ^
Carbon fibre polished up:
With the polishing finished, it was wax time. Adam brought along his own wax to be used for this job, some collinites something or other. Went on pretty well tbh.
Wax buffed off and re-assembly began:
All finished
By this time it was dark and I was tired. We went out for pizza and to find somewhere to take some final pictures, because I'm sad like that.
Please bear in mind these were taken in pitch blackness
...and there we go.
Adams happy with the job done, and hopefully with the price as well.
Now if only I could give my own car this much attention....
