adjustable suspension

  Trophy #473
I have a problem... i want my car to look standard and dont particuarly want to make it lower as i do love the cars stants, but i want the versitility of adjustable suspension (had adj's on my mk1) could i keep the standard springs but still use adjustable dampers? i assume that its ok to do so.

also how much different are the spring rates on the cup version compaired to the ph1 172? could i use those springs if they are 'stiffer', would there be any benifits.

im wanting to keep the car looking standard as i love just how underestimated ph-Q's are.

thanks

nathan

also save me doing another post, where can i find a decat for a reasonable price as most or over £120 which is a bit of a rip off imho.

iirc you can get standard ride height springs but are a higher poundage and should fit uprated shocks no problem.

get koni adjustable dampers, and keep stock springs should do the trick, also i think H and R do some springs which barely lower the car but give it better ahandling, 15mm or something along those lines?
