Admiral Multi car

Anyone had any experience...? Anygood, any issues on claiming etc?

Just had a wee play with it there...Prospective quote for April 1st when the Vee comes back on the road.

Was 1498 for the Vee and Z4. 250 Excess...Which imo isn't bad! As one car doesn't have NCB.

Just concerned about the idea of 2cars on one policy...

Seems like a good idea. I think a guy on here has 4 cars on one. It maybe Danny with the Ph-quick from memory.

Directline do ncb matching for a second car if that helps.

Can you not get a traders policy? You don't need to be a trader to get one.

Don't know really.

But me, wife, business partner, his wife, and a valeter can all drive ANY car upto the value of £25k, we have loads of employers liability/buildings ins etc and it all comes to less than £2k!

hummm....Thing is the quote is for 12months & 12months...Vee is only goign to be on the road 6months a year. So it's not all that bad imo.

Admiral arn't the greatest company tho...Heard some horror stories...

More than likely.

So if you take out a 12m policy on the Vee, and you finish using it after 6m, can you not just lock it up at your dads and cancel the insurance? claim 6m back?

Ive got one of these with me mam,dad bro and sis.

All five cars are insured with Elephant (Elephant,Admiral and Bell) are all part of EUI ltd) So essentially the same company, as you will notice the layout on the sites are all the same.

A Clio Dynamique 1600cc, Clio 1200cc, Puegeot 107, Fiesta ST, and my Clio 172 are all insured for £1720

Mines being the dearest was discounted by nigh-on £340 as a result of the policy respectivley!

A good idea if you have 3 or more cars!

Dan, do you not need to be a trader to get a traders policy then? Is there any limits on it? Be it car engine size, mods, age of drivers?

Sorry for the high jack.

there are horror stories with all insurers

im with admiral, i found them to be very friendly and helpful

Agree with Dan, in your position I'd have a trade policy (I currently have Admiral multicar) but I don't really drive any other cars on the road like I assume you do Ali?
