Advice from anyone please.

Took my 1.2 dynamic down to get my oil filter changed yesterday. The guy at breico took a look and seen all that yellow.white gunk around the oil cap.He told me there was no point in putting in new oil cause it would just get runined with all that stuff in the old oil. He told me i need to flush the engine out and run it for 30 miles then get the oil changed.

Does anyone know what he means?????

Is the car not under warrenty then?

I found a good hard motorway caining removes the gunk so it gets pumped round the delicate parts of the engine.....

Then pop in halfords and pick up some engine flush... read the instructions.... then change the oil........
