Advice needed on buyin 182

Ive got an appointment 2moz morning at my local Burnley Renault dealer.

Im booked in for a test drive and then a chat to see if he can come up with a good deal, which he promised me he could do. Didnt get his name, seemed a decent youngish chap though. I told him about lloyds price and he said he could come close so ill wait and see what Renault can do.

Has anyone got any advice for me when dealing with Renault. I currently have a Proton Satria Gti and when I went to buy that I didnt have to open my mouth, the deal was laid out to me on a plate.

I want a titanium silver with both cup packs for around the price of what Lloyds can offer, which is £13,105. Not sure whether to trade my car in or sell private. Also, would it be cheaper for me to get a loan rather than take out finance with Renault or do they have a good rate.

Thanks for any advice.

I mentioned Lloyds and got "But here you have the benefit of a service and parts department you can walk straight into, face to face customer service etc etc".

I told him "b****cks Ill have that anyway regardless, and renault are sh*t. Why were they voted the 32nd worst dealer in the country - out of 34?. All im interested in is the bottom line price".

I got them to £13,400. NO FURTHER ! Walked out in the end in pursuit of a better deal.

Log onto scidirect.co.uk & ukcarbroker.co.uk. Youll get two lower prices which should give you more to bargain with. End of the day my local renault dealer sales dept treated me like sh*te, wouldnt budge. I walked away and went through a broker.
