i know when bigger wheels are put onto your car the speedo is out slightly but what bout the mileage?? will that be out to???

i know when bigger wheels are put onto your car the speedo is out slightly but what bout the mileage?? will that be out to???
so does anyone know how much? will it appear that i have done less miles? and how much by?
With the std. 14´s 175/60-14 on mine the speedo reads too much, about 3-4 miles. With 15´s 195/50- 15 it reads 2-3 miles too much. And finaly with my 17´s it reads spot on!!! 205/40-17.......I have mesured it with my GPS so should be ok
But many people wimp about it when you ask them to get some proper wheels. IMO thats just bullS**T. The GPS is correct the speedo is not, unless you have 17´s...

I had the same - the 17"s actually made the speedo MORE accurate than it was before.
Ok mate save this to your favs coz its bloody usefull. if u scroll down just over half way down the page theres some uiput boxes for your orignals wheels + Tyres and your new ones.
it will fig out the difference your speedo will be showing...
