hey people i have myself a 1.2 dynamic 55 plate im away 2 get 17's on how low can i put it? wud 60mm be 2 low or wud 40mm be suttle n low enough?

You should be ok to go 60mm. There can be some rubbing of the tyre on the wheel arch but it will depend on which wheels you get. I personally wouldn't put 17's on, too big. I've tried them and prefer my 16's.

well i have a set of 17inch wolfrace kendos in my m8s garage.my m8 is a panel beater so he wud roll the arches but i just dont no how low 2 go.ponderin between coilovers 60mm or 40mm

Coilovers all the way.

But get some decinet one

What offset are the wheels.

No need to roll the arches grind them away at the back if you realy need and remove the arch liners at the front and underseal the car as well.
