Advise for HU and Speaker upgrades.

Just wondering... are "mutant" speakers & amps any good? I have no experience with them, and I'd like to know whether they're crap or not.

Err.. and my OEM HU is 4x35w apparantly. Would a 4x50w aftermarket HU would sound a lot better?

I had a mutant sub and it was ok, but if you can I'd advise to spend the extra for alpine/infinity/jbl as they are only a touch more expensive but leagues ahead quality wise imo.

anything alpine in terms of H/U IMO.

mutant stuff is ok...were selling the mutant bass pack for £99.99 ...sub amp and wiring kit ....
theyre ok...seem to have a bit of problems with the amps overheating, but the subs seem kool

id spend that little bit more if you want a sub in a box...as said above. JBL,JL,Vibe..Kicker.

I was looking an an alpine HU, but it's only got a 1bit DA converter... I guess it'll skip on bumps then?
