Advise on aux belt/cambelt and future 428 cams

Depends if the inlets in your 182 are RS stamped ones. Otherwise IIRC they're identical to a Mk2 172.

Its stamped on the lower inlet right? Any chance that is visible from just a peek under the bonnet?
