D2S.

I'm running pimp-spec 8000k's.

Not as blue as you'd think...

Do you have xenon light units at the moment? Trophy didn't come with them as standard.

If not i'm presuming you want uprated halogen lamps rather than xenon lamps.

You'll need different lights if you want to fit xenons to a Trophy, yeah.

They're easily available though. Plug and play, they can be fitted in under an hour.

You can't get any brighter than the standard 4300K colour temp. Anything higher is bluer but won't give as much light on the road, I had 4300, 6000, and 8000K in my 172 and settled on 6000k as a good balance between light and colour.

In that case you need D2S lamps as stated.

You can get them from as little as £20 for somewhere like www.hids-direct.co.uk
Obviously more expensive one's should be better quality/last longer.

ok thanks mike and jcc

d2s 6000 are what i will get

98% of people say 6000 are the best option

Has anyone purchased from HIDs-Direct?

£17 for a pair of D2S 6000k over £56 at HIDs-4-U....

Experiences/Opinions? I can't see how HIDs-4-U can charge 3 times the price of HIDs-Direct

Anybody recommend any good looking sidelights bulbs to go with updated xenon bulbs or leave them standard???

I've just ordered a set from hid direct so will let you know when I get them
How they are like.

you remove a rubber gasket, then twist a square thing, and then you have two clips which secure the 'bulb', my explanation is crap, but without knowing what to do it took me 5 minutes to change it, the only problem is the driver side, you have a lot less room to work with, i think it can be done, but it will require a lot of patience and swearing.
A lot of people take the bumper off to switch xenons, but i'd rather do without the hassle.
