Aerial Signal Booster

  Skoda Fabia vRS

those are the signal seperation filters are they not ?

ive been told that they wouldnt work and simply filter out the fuzzy channels rather than actually boosting the signal

Its been a while since I had to use them but Ithought it helped boost the reception. I know that you have to connect it up to the rem wire when installing. Try ringing autoleads tomorrow and ask them to make sure (I assume you have the number at motorworld!)

Halfords sell them. Theyre used when the stereos are replaced in VWs and Audi. Should be about a tenner.

£9.99 for the signal seperation filter, and yea it says on the instructions......

however, ive rang Autoleads before about this and been told 2 different things, once got told they ARE a signal booster, and then got told by a diff person on a diff occasion they arent, they simply filter out the crap channels

i tried one in a Ford galaxy of a customers the other day and it did f**k all.......

oh shoot, forgot to reply

basically signal boosters dont really boost the signal, they just filter out the part you dont want to hear, aside from buynig a new head unit/aerial/re-wiring it all you will just have to put up with it im afraid

(all above in my experience, thats not to say its different for someone else)
