After Market exhausts and Warranty

Does fitting an after market exhaust void your warranty with renault?

No, not always.

Depends on the dealer, but the standard approach is that they wont cover parts that are damaged if they are damaged becuase of the aftermarket parts.

Any chance of getting the dealers to fit it if i provide it? Im sure i should get the lube ready for the price they will charge for that tho

Again, it depends on the dealer.

Most "proper" place will not fit parts they do not supply.

dealers will not fit any parts that are not there own and also they do not recomend fitting exhausts while the car is under warranty so my bro got told last week at the dealership

I had a ProSpeed system on my 182, it went for 2 services and a number of warranty items without any problems.

Same for many others.

Never had a problem from the dealer with my Magnex. In fact they wanted to know all about it as it improved the car so much!

Like they will notice, Nik traded his 172 in with a door that didnt hang right, was obvious but they still missed it!
