After weeks of waiting...

A break in the cloud!!! woop woop!!

So my car has gone from this...

to this in the space of 2.5hours..

preparing for FCS...

Washed with Megs Gold Class and wash mitt
Megs QD and Clay
AG SRP

haven't done the roof, bonnet, front bumper or wheels yet, thats tomorrows job if the rain holds off!! Alog with another coat of AG SRP over the whole car and a couple of coats or AG EGP in the coming days (fingers crossed!)

was raining when I went to work but I saw it brighten up coming to the end of the day so I slipped out at 4 to clean the car

Very nice Ryan. With my original 15" wheels (same style as yours) I use Megs metal and alloy polisher - Works a fooking treat!! Wash the wheels down first in the normal way, dry it all off then apply some of that stuff on a megs applicator pad and rub untill your whole wheel looks matt. Then use a clean megs applicator pad to scrub off the residue. I've never seen a wheel shine so much before!!!!

haha I only clayed the wings, doors, rear quater, boot and rear bumper, still got the roof, bonnet and front bumper to do. Most of it was ok, only down the bottom edge by the skirts and wheel arches needed a bit more elbow grease!

I've already got some of that metal polish doug! never thought about using in the wheels though!! Will give it a go when I get round to doing them! ta!

lol! It really was, for some reason my camera made it look cleaner in the pics, hadn't been washed for about 3 weeks and I drive down a rather scuddy country lane every day to get to work so it was a right state! lol

Meguiars Quick Clay - can get it at Halfords, about £12 I think.

I actually quite like the dirty wheels! lol all the cleaning has highlighted a fair few chips and scratches though still...happens to us all I guess
