Aftermarket Airfilter 1.2 16V 2003

been looking at loads of air filter K&N pipercroos and green etc not too sure which one to get but also thinking about the K-tec relocation pipe to go with it aswell. just want good performance and nice sound

what about a cold air feed where is the best place

ive got the K-tec relocation pipe on mine with a pipercross filter. i got mine second hand but it was defo worth the cash.

the engine revs a lot easyer and when you press the accelerator you get a loud whoosh noise as it first sooooks in air! then on full throttle when driving when it hits about 3,500RPM it starts to growl and sounds nice, especially if youve got the window down

on the motorway it sounds nice too, its not like an induction kit is on some other cars ive heard where it constantly makes a noise you have to take it past 3,000 on full throttle to really hear it!

the first link you posted is for the 2004 > engines, you will have the 1.2 16V engine with the grey plastic on top?

yes i have the newer engine with the plastic top i was also going to paint this too

no the older engine is the one with the grey bit the new one is just black.

I'm selling a Viper for £100 + postage if anyone's interested. Wont be sucking in hot air from the engine that way!

It's the same as the Viper on k-tec.

so with a 16v engine its hotter aswell i still dont know what kit to buy. i have a buget of around £150 can anyone help me decide. do i need to get an exhaust first will there be too much back pressure
