Aftermarket Steering wheel! Service light!

Anyone got an aftermarket steering wheel? And does the fact that you disconnect the airbag cause the service light to be on all the time?

Will do until you put the 2x correct value resistor in the airbag connector.

Where is this located? Behind the steering wheel?

Its the connector that plugged into the airbag before you removed it, if you do a search you should find a post by edde telling you the values you need.

would this also be the case when it comes to seats, i put leather/alacantra seats into my cup, connected everthing up, the service and airbag light came on, and wont go off:S

steering wheel resistors are 4ohms iirc?
