Aftermarket wheel fitment

If i put an aftermarket steering wheel on my Ph1 172 will it mean i would need to remove the stereo joystick control thing or can it stay in place?

Can stay there mate. Its mounted on the column not the wheel.

As above, I've got a momo wheel and can still use the controls.
