Been pretty slack with my write-up's recently so thought I had best post this beauty up!
I had a cancellation today so managed to squeeze in a local chaps Megane 250 engine'd Clio 200 in Alien Green.
Apologies in advance for the lack of progress shots, the weather wasn't ideal today so I was in and out of the garage which made it slightly difficult.
Arrived this morning looking like this..

First impressions are not too bad, minimal tar and fallout, however it was covered in rubber marks from a decent track day.
Started off with the wheels and arches as usual..
Wheels cleaned with AF Imperial and agitated using various sized hogs-hair brushes and a Daytona Speedmaster Mini.
Tyres and arches AF Verso.

Wheels and Arches decontaminated with Car-Pro Iron-X and AF ObliTARate. Wheels required a couple of hits with Iron-X.

Wheels complete out came the snow foam. Applied AF Avalanche, allowed to dwell and agitated required areas of the body with AF Citrus Power.

Rinsed excess snowfoam with the pressure washer.

Washed using CarPro Reset Shampoo (I love this stuff) via 2BM.

Rinsed and on to Decontamination of the body. Again, CarPro Iron-X and AF ObliTARate.

Rinsed the body and moved onto Clay. I opted with AF Clay and Glide Lube.
Nothing major picked up, the majority was from the windscreen and roof.

Re-washed using CarPro Reset and dabbed dry with the Woolley mammoth.
Moved into the garage as it started to rain at this stage. 😧
I decided on the Auto Finesse Ultra-Glaze and Essence combo, one of my favourites at the moment.

Applied Ultra-Glaze a panel at a time followed by Essence and allowed to cure.
The photos died off completely here unfortunately.
Anyway, glass was cleaned with G-Techniq C6, Plastics dressed with Car-Pro Perl, Arches with AF Dressle, Exhaust polished and sealed with Britemax Metal Twins, Wheels sealed with AF Mint Rims and Tyres dressed with Megs Endurance.
Engine bay was cleaned with AF Verso, engine cover wiped over with AF Finale, expansion tank polished with AF Mercury and plastics dressed with CarPro Perl.
Final wipedown with G-Techniq QD and we're done..

I will be honest, I was never really much of a fan of Alien Green but this has changed my mind completely! It's such a deep, wet looking colour and the contrast with the black details look stunning.
Quite envious, the work that's been carried out on this car is unbelievable! When I opened the bonnet I couldn't believe it was a conversion, it looks like it's come straight out of the factory. Lovely, lovely car!
Enjoy, again apologies for the lack of progress shots!
