AG extra gloss protection over collonite?

Hi all,

I currently wash my car like this:

- rinse, wash with mitt
- dry with microfibre
- clay
- wash and dry
- AutoGlym Super Resin Polish
- then I use AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection.

This gives a really good shine, but I want something deeper and longer lasting.
Would it be possible to lay Extra Gloss Protection over Collonite wax? Or would this simply be defeating the object of Extra Gloss Protection?

It is wax on TOP of sealant...so you would put the EGP on first, then collonite or whatever wax over this.

I wouldn't worry about drying your car before claying, as it's going to get wet again anyway.

Back to the point in question though, what colour is your car? A glaze would help with a deeper shine, i use Poorboy's Blackhole which works best for dark colours

Well it's gold, and very swirly. So would a high quality wax give more shine and hide some of the swirls?

but anything deeper than that will require machine polishing, also while collinite is good for a lasting winter protection, it can dull some colours so a different wax may be required for the spring/summer period.
