Agressive rear pads

  TrackCar & F30 330d
I run Carbone Lorraine Front pads (RC5) and i have some cheapest of cheap rear pads.

I know the rear brakes dont really do that much but if i put some CL's in the back will it improve the braking blalance or performance?

The question is baised on the car been on track.

What pads do people use on the rear?

I found CL to be quite grabby when they're cold. No f**king way would I be putting them on the back of a Clio. Standard or Halfords IMO.

Infact cut a packet of butter in half then slip said butter into rear calipers, this will work just fine.
Some people have even disconnected rear brakes for track use:quiet:

  182 trackday racer
My car is used for some road and a lot of track. I use DS3000 on front and DS2500 rear. Read somewere that that combo was user on the race car aswell. Im very pleased with it.

ive got AP 4 pots with DS2500 and DS1.11 up front and DS2500 in the rear, works really well but not sure what compound ill run when these are worn out dont really need a pad like the ds1.11 up front with the 4 pots.

cheapest hard wearing low maintenance pads possible on the rear, the brake balance is the only reason the rears dont do much, and that's how you want it
