I'm currently in Beta on this and I must say it's a great game! very very polished!! amazing work for a beta version.

I'm only level 12 atm (the fun starts at 25+) but it's a real pleasure to play and very addictive. It also runs really smooth - I haven't got the most upto date PC yet I can run everything maxed with 8xAA and hardly drops below 60fps. Everything is really fluid and smooth in movement. (crytek engine)

It looks gorgeous aswell. Now I'm not a fan of all this anime stuff tbh but it doesn't really come across as that when you play. The flying aspect (you can only do it in certain areas so far) is really easy to do and not overkill (still do most stuff on foot tbh).

I'd highly recommend giving it a go, its great so far.

Some of the people I play Lotro with are foaming at the mouth about Aion, looks good, might give it a try, cant be worse than AOC or Warhammer, tried both - didn't like.

See im begining to show me age by saying this, but those of you who have been around MMO gaming before the WoW hype will remember Lineage2 i hope? From what i can see this new "AION" is basically Lineage2 with a makeover.

It will all boil down to being your typical generic korean grind fest like all the others have before it. Hate to sound bitter but im talking from experience *link*

I've played a lot of MMO's (since UO) and they are all grind fest in one way or another - yes this is a korean game but it has been westernised for the Western market. I'm just looking forward to the mass PvP and the nice design of the game.

MMO's are about who you play with tbh and what you make it.
