air bag and service light on

  mk2 Clio 1.4, 16v
iv just went and looked at a 52 plate gun metal grey 1.4 clio and whilst test driving it i noticed the service and airbag light on. Thats the only thing thats stop me snapping up the car straight away. however since i have got home and done some research i found out that it might have something to do with fault connection under the passengers seat.

im just wondering if im correct. i would like to know if it could be anything else then fault wires and how much it would cost to fix it.

this is my first post btw:approve: thanks

Could be a number of reasons, however it is most likely that it is the airbag clip sensor thing under the passenger seat.

nothing serious mate i would not worry i have had 2 clios now that have had those lights on when i bought them ran them through a diagnostic machine and one was due to an abs sensor and other cruise control fault

if its a clean enough car and runs fine go for it just get a bit more off the price ;)
