air bag light and serv light

iv fitted bucket seat and the two lights are on isit just because iv dissconected the under seat air bag wire thing??? and will connecting the 2 of them together in turn knock the lights off??

3ohm is just the same resistsance as the bag gives out so putting a resister in just makes the computer think the bag is there.
