air box help



  2002 172cup
Im taking off the piper cross induction kit and putting the oem air box back on my car(172 cup on a 52 plate).

Yoy have three pipes on the air box one that go's down to the bumper
the main engine intake and one pipe that comes out around the back of the engine this last pipe i cant find were it go's ????
what is it for?????

You should have the main inlet on top of the box at the back. To the right of the box there should be a feed that runs between the headlight and the battery and into the wheel arch. The other feed should come out of the bottom of the airbox and to the front. The the left of the near side head light you will see a metal plate with a circle cut into it, the end of the feed clips into this.

the feed that comes out the back of the box ends up by the back of the engine.is this right then??

No mate, it should come out of the bottom, maybe at the back and come forwards towards the grille
