You cant see it mate it lives inside the airbox! I have a Pipercross, it looks good after Ive cleaned it.
dont you lose the box though and just see the cone????????

No,thats one of those cack induction kits that only work over 80mph when the engine can find some cold air.The element lets the engine breath better inside the air box and keeps all the hot air outAlso there half the price of the other and six times cheaper than a viper kit.
They do make sense...

Alright 172nightrider, although mines a 1.2, heres a pic of my Pipercross filter. Ive circled roughly where yours would come out. Obviously due the the extra size of the 172 engine and all the other bits they cram under there (air- con box of tricks etc) you wouldnt be able to get the relocation pipe. PM JJ172 (James) and ask him about his filter, looks the dogs bollox!!!
