Air Filter??

When i bought my car the air filter came on it, and i was wondering what advantages it gave such as deeper sound or more power?? and also if it uses alot more petrol as my needle seems to go down quite quickly, it is a pipercross filter if that helps

At best you're going to see an increase of about 1BHP but that's £400 money on an RS model.

like said on a RS it wont do much. as your 1.2 is alot smaller in the same space the airlow that gets to the filter will be better so it may give you maby 1-2bhp.

make sure it has a CAF

It may use a tiny amount but not masses. Most see an increase in consumption but often its because they accelerate harder because they like the induction sound
