So when I got my Clio it had a k&n cone air filter. Car has been dead for a long time this is only a wee 1.4 I changed the k&n filter and opted for the standard box now I have notice the car runs much better and fuel economy is great now anyone had a similar experience?

Not suprised, the cone filter being open sucks in hot air, plus you won't be flooring it as much (as it won't sound as good) thus naturally getting better mpg
