air flow bypass resister

i have bought a little resister that plugs into the air flow meter wiring plug to bypass it, do they work and is it worth putting it on...

Please don't put this on it WILL damage your engine... total con.. if they were any good manfacturers/tuners would use them.

I thought the air flow meter was built in to the throttle housings all as one unit. because some has to measure the air flow rate...

The clios use a speed density setup, they do not measure mass air flow.
