Airbag Connections - Can you help? *pics*

Finally wanted to sort the airbag warning light after putting in some different seats last year.
Bought 3.9ohm resistors.

Passenger side:

Cream > Brown (usually on the black connector)
Brown > Orange (usually on the grey connector)

*Usual practice seems to be to put the resistor in the connector block(s) to bridge them, but I'd cut them off last year - n0b.

Looks ok to me though - concur?

Drivers side:

Orange > Brown (usually in black connector)
Orange > Brown (usually in grey connector)

Again I couldn't bridge them in the connectors, cost I'd already cut 'em.

Do these look ok?

When turning the ignition, the airbag light goes off, but re-appears after the car is started.
Have I missed something? Thats how the wires are at the moment, just under the seat, do I need to re-connect anything else?

I think sometimes it needs the fault to actually be cleared via diagnostics to get rid of the light completely.
Might be wrong though.

I've tripple checked against various threads, so can only assume the 3.9ohm resistors are not correct.
Will try some lesser ohm ones tomorrow.

SRS is a self-diagnosing system so if the light is still on there is either a problem with the trigger line resistence values OR you have another issue somewhere. Eitherway, a code reading session would be a good place to start so you can see exactly what the line values are and the faults that are present.

Wow, I was just typing you a PM! spooky.

Looks like I'll be visiting you shortly anyway, you're only an hour away by google maps standards.

Just replied - I can easily de-configure the SRS components for you if you'd prefer at the sametime.
