Airbag problem ?

Was out in the car today and 2 lights came up on the dash, the service light and the airbag light, its at the top right, on the left of the dash.

These both came on then went off and came on again and have been on since.

After getting home I opened the fuse 'box' thing on the passenger side, and then noticed a grey fuse with the number 20 I think on it, lying on the floor, im not sure if this has fallen out from somewhere imporatnt or if it was just a spare.

Any help appreciated.

The 20 on the fuse refers to the rating ie 20 amps check to see if there are any empty sockets with metal connections inside. (unused fuse holders are just blank)

Most likely cause of your problem is the SRS seat belt retractor connectors under the seat.

Passengers kick them getting in and out of the back seats.

They are bright yellow connectors with bright yellow wiring covering, push them together and the fault should clear.

Service light comes on with the Airbag light, sorting the fault will cancel both lights.

common problem just wiggle the wires under the passengers seat as brian said

If you put a plastic tie wrap round the plugs like this, it shouldn't happen again

i did that exact thing! ^ by experimentation.
