Airbag question

Right after a little mishap the passenger side airbag went off.
Need to replace it (and the seat). Is there anything i need to know before i do, like taking the battery off and stuff like that.

you will need the airbagcomputer i think, how did it go off?

too fit a new seat you want to dissconnect the battery and unplug the seat from the air bag connectors, thats all.

Also for your new airbag and all the others to function again you will need a new airbag computer fitted, I think Renault are the only people that can do this but I'm not certain on that iirc it will be about £300 for that
