You can still do the bucket seats just have to skip the airbags there not the greatest thing since sliced break they can do more harm than good airbags. As long as you go somewhere who knows how to fix the wiring of and airbag you should be fine.Quote: Originally posted by <KLB> on 04 May 2004

Dont know if this would work, but all the airbag computer checks for is resistance on the airbag charges, so if you put bucket seats in would you not be able to fit a resistor in the line of the seat airbags(resistor being the same resistance of the seat airbag), would this work?
DO NOT USE A MULTI-METER TO CHECK THE RESISTANCE,you could trigger the charges. I expect a few of us would know what the resistance would be for a seat airbag, or could even look it up.

Actually I think judging by the picture in my car manual, the 172Mk1 had the airbags in the doors wer all Mk2 clios have them in the seats.
