Alarm 3 beeps?

What does it mean when you lock the doors with the FOB and the alarm chirps 3 times?

It only does it some times when I am locking the car. IIRC the hazard lights dont flash either when it bleeps, only when it locks normally.

Its a 182 05 plate.

i think it is when a door is not shut or something like that

All the doors are definatley shut when it does it. Its a wierd one.

The alarm went off 3 times last night so im guessing its faulty.

Does anyone know how to switch off the interior sensors?

if you leave it an extra few seconds before hitting the button it should stop. its worked for me.

Its because you're getting out and locking the door too quickly.

The ECU is still receiving a signal from the ignition thinking it's still on... so the alarm won't set. Its a common problem which most people have had fixed.
