Alarm beep

Hey!

Just fitted some new 8000K bulbs to my 182 (bumper off job)...but after i put the bumper back on and connected everything back up (including my alarm switch for the bonnet) when i set it and try to make the alarm go off it keeps going...

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

basically there's no siren

any ideas??

(it worked fine before)

as far as im aware the beeeeeeeeeeeeep is to tell you something isnt shut properly, double check the sensor on the bonnet and give it a wipe clean, i think the standard alarms on the clios are very primative and can easily be fooled

right its the bonnet sensor mate, the constant beep is to tell you something is open, a door, the bonnet etc, so as you have desturbed only the bonnet switch the problem will be with that, try disconecting it as cleaning the contacts
