Alarm emergency

That normally doesn't work as the alarm will have a back up power supply!
Found that out in Austria when @Geddes lost his keys in his pocket .

Lol, can not forget about that. Looking around for hours in a grass field looking for my keys, you lit broke into my car the alarm going off, couldn't of haven't further away from home lol. Couldn't of been in a more beautiful place though.
Yeah disconnecting the battery didn't stop the alarm

I take there is no way of deactivating it - my neighbours renault megane espace things alarm keeps going off all through the night and they have started disconnecting the battery at night now. Would be good for them if there was a sequence of buttons to push to switch it off permanently.
