alarm fault?!

hi guys, i have a 182 and was wondering how you check if the alarm is open without smashing it lol. i used to go off when i left my windows before i locked the car but dont seem to be doing this no more. any good way to see if the cars alarm still works? thanks

leave the windows down lock the car leave it for a few minutes and stick your arm in the window and wave it around

ive done that and nothing happens cud be cos i have wind deflectors on now? maybe bodged the sensors up or summat? anyone??!!

not sure mate never had a sport but from reading on here there is sensors on the dash etc have you checked the led ? what does it flash? I assume you have checked the fuse etc?

im sure someone else will be able to help more if you get that info

i will check the fuse tomo but the led still flashes so surely it cant be a fuse. cheers for the help adam1942
