well i just had a look at the cables and it says renault clio 1999 on the cables..

will this not fit my 2002 172?

Get some pics i'll tell you 100%, i'd say no due to a Ph1 being pre-UCH but it might be workable.

Its possible it'll fit but without an installation guide your up s**t creek. It doesn't look to be specifically customised connection wise, so theres a fair chance it'll work.

Boot? You shouldn't need one it'll use the existing one. The only extra switch should be a bonnet switch.

Wouldn't make any difference I imagine. Trouble is a lack of installation guide to see if its possible.
