Alarm Issues

Ive got a 172 cup and my alarm will not stop going off. Ive noticed that the interior sensor on the drivers side is not attached to its little plastic frame. Is this the reason? Also if i just cut it off will this fix the problem?

Any info would be gratefull.

you need to use the control panel on the windscreen to disable the interior ultrasonics ... cutting it off will not solve the problem!
