My girlfriends alarm on her 182 has just started to play up since coming back from Renault earlier in the week.
When the cars locked/armed it makes a ticking noise which we've noticed is in time with the flashing red led on the dash.
Then when she unlocks it the ticking continues, once she starts the engine it seems to stop briefly (around 10 seconds) before the alarm decides to sound.
When this has happened she has removed the key from the ignition and attempted to re-arm the alarm but all that happens is the alarm continues to go off but really quietly (as if someone has their hand over the siren).
Could the battery be on it's way out or something???
