Alarm Query

Hi

I have a late 2005 Clio 182, and would like to know if there is anyway I can immobilise the alarm? This is mainly because I get annoyed when I cannot leave my windows open at all in summer and lock the car as the alarm goes off, and also I cannot leave my dog in the car if it is locked!

Any help would be great, thanks!

You cannot immobilise the alarm as this would invalidate your insurance

You can, however, switch off the interior sensors which leaves the rest of the car armed.

true about insurance, it is a pain in the backend though!

thanks for the advice.....while i was reading i noticed a bit about getting to the car to find it unlocked when you think you have locked it...mine has done this a couple of times now. sometimes the radio also works without the key being in the ignition!
