Alarm query

Morning All,

Just a quick one.
When I lock my Clio 182 with the key fob (and presumably arm the alarm!) I get a single high pitched tone which lasts about 30 - 60 secs.
Any comments/ideas? I assume this is a fault?

think that usually means that a door is open or something, hopefully someone can come help and confirm this
