Alarm question [Mk2 172]

Every now and again when i lock my 172 it beeps twice :S it's only started doing this, and had never done it in the past, the car is a 52 plate clio on 80k.

Any ideas?

I myself have got a toad ai606 but iirc the two beeps on 172 alarms mean there is something open ie doors or bonnet, could even be a dodgy sensor

I think it tells you in the manual.

3 beeps means the ultrasonics have been triggered.

Not sure but check the alarm sensor contacts on the bonnet, sounds like it may be detecting a door not shut (faulty sensor)

I was thinking maybe low battery in the key fob?

Opps misread it, it means something is not shut properly.
